Ancient History

In this article, I hope to say the historical value of The Colosseum and give some travel recommendations. The building exterior is preserved very well and we can see Romans continue the Greek columns system when they construct the building. But Romans constructed larger buildings more than Greek.

The colosseum is the center of the city of Rome. They used brick-faced concrete, travertine limestone, volcanic rock for built this ancient monument. It can give to spectators for 65,000 audiences. And they used it for animal hunts, famous fights, and dramas. Therefore, we can think a lot of times It used for entertainment works. The colosseum is the iconic symbol of Rome. And a lot of tourists come to see this wonderful year and year. They celebrated the last game in the 6th century. Over 6 million tourists visit Rome to see this iconic place. 

Quartiere Coppedge

Quartiere Coppedge is a small district near the Colosseum. The city has cultural buildings, classic vehicles, and extremely favorite experiences in Rome. But the building was constructed at the beginning of the 20th century. However, this is a better place for travel around the Colosseum. The city is a secret city. I think the buildings have a mix of styles which Greek and Liberty. Behind the city open a quiet fairytale world.
